A Lesson from the Boston Celtics

Over the recent weeks, I really got into watching the NBA playoffs for a couple of reasons.  One, because it was ALWAYS on, and two, because it was one of the most exciting basketball series I've ever watched.  After watching the Celtics claim their first NBA title in over 2 decades, I began watching the interviews of the players and coaches and the attitude they seemed to hold onto throughout the entire series.  I believe Kevin Garnett said it best when he said, "Winning is the Only Option." This says a lot.  If only people could think this way in their everyday lives with their careers, their relationships, and their dreams.  What if people felt this way when giving a presentation?  How memorable of an impression would you make if your motto was "Winning is the Only Option?"  Do you think you would make the sale?  Do you think you would persuade people to your point of view?  Do you think you would get the vote?  I believe this is a great thought we can all live by to improve our presentations, our lives, ourselves.
