A Subversive Meets CRM: My Interview with Paul Greenberg

Paul Greenberg and I have a few things in common:  we both like sushi, we like how SAP is transforming itself by its embrace of social media and bloggers, and Jack Kemp remains our favorite Republican.  Paul also has given up the barricade-storming of his youth (we probably were at many of the same marches) to throw slings and arrows at dumb technology and bad customer service.   As one of the leading blogger s about CRM (at pgreenblog.com) and author of CRM at the Speed of Light, coming soon in its fourth edition, Paul is one of the most forth-right yet persuasive proponents of “social CRM” - - or a new paradigm of customer service where the customer is in control.   Paul took a few minutes to talk with us last week about exactly what is going as online communities and web 2.0 tools are transforming the way that a company does business.
