Peter J. Auditore is currently the principal researcher at Asterias Research, a boutique consultancy focused on executable marketing communications strategies for the millennium. Asterias Research also conducts primary and secondary market research on enterprise and cloud computing companies for the SMB and CRM markets.
As Head of SAP’s Business Influencer Program, Auditore pioneered the development of several social media peers groups aimed at expanding SAP brand presence in the SME and CRM markets. In 2010, his team received AMI partners SMB Award for best in class Social Media Demand Generation. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Society for New Communications Research. As a veteran of four technology startups including: Zona Research (Cofounder), Hummingbird (VP Marketing Americas), Survey.com (President) and Exigen Group, (VP Corporate Communications), Mr. Auditore has twenty years of experience in selling and marketing software to LE and SME organizations worldwide. A frequent speaker at industry conferences and tradeshows, Mr. Auditore has written many technology press articles and industry white papers. He holds BS and secondary teaching degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. From 1980-1989 Mr. Auditore became an accomplished and published fisheries scientist, after participating in ocean going research, which included submersible and surface research vessel operations at the National Marine Fisheries Service in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
