  1. Band photos

If you have a band or you ride solo, take some professional pics. If you career skyrockets, those initial pictures will be more famous than your music. Also, professional pictures look great for any beginner musician. Make sure you look good as well. You can use those photos as an album cover.

  1. Start blogging

Every major label has a blog on their websites. People love reading and if they are a fan of yours, they would love to read your content. You can also do interviews and get guests on podcast etc. Blogging paves the way to a fantastic marketing strategy.  Also, copyright  your music so that nobody uses it for free.

  1. Release a vinyl

With all of the hipster craze going on, a good way to establish yourself as a brand is to release a vinyl. Not only, it’s cool and can get you a lot of attention. Classic vinyl records go for a crazy price nowadays since every song can be heard with one finger swipe.

8.Merch, merch, merch!

Merchandise is a great way to establish yourself as a brand. You can do so much with it. You start selling T-shirts, pens, keychains, accessories etc. Everybody has been doing it in the recent years.
